In the city of Chiclayo (Lambaeque region), citizen Jorge Albujar Lecca developed a social project called “Eco Roof” made using a Tetra Pak packing list.
Albuhar Lekka noted that the project aims to provide housing for the poorest families in Chiclayo. “With Unit 109 Cix, we are promoting roofs (calamine) using Tetra Pak containers, which are made from cardboard with a stability compound,” he said.
The resident said the container was cardboard on the outside and six layers of polyethylene, one layer of aluminum, and one layer of discreet plastic on the inside. Its imperviousness allows it to last much longer in rain and sunlight than plastic.
At the same time, he clarified that they will be working with the Unit 109 Cix team to organize a collection of Tetra Pak containers in schools, universities and businesses over the next few days to collect this material for a 240×110 launch in the next few months. ceilings will be donated to the poorest areas of Chiclayo.
He eventually explained that to make such a roof, the Tetra Pak wrap had to be cut to the size of a sheet of fine paper, and then heated and melted with the tip of an iron. , or use the sealing machine he invented to make the job easier.
